The vintage Rolex Submariner 1680 is significant as it was the first Submariner model made by Rolex to feature a date display.The 1680 Submariner was introduced in about 1965 and continued production for some 20 years.
The 1680 Submariner is fitted with a Rolex calibre 1575 movement and uses an acrylic crystal.The watch is fitted with a genuine Rolex stainless steel bracelet.
The stainless steel case measures 40 mm wide is in extra fine condition with very fat lugs and sharp edges condition.
