Comments: This vintage Oyster Cosmograph Daytona reference 6263 is solid 18k yellow gold case. Original 18k gold case is 38mm in diameter by 14mm thick. Screw down chronograph pushers and crown all working properly. Case is in mint to mint plus condition with thick, even lugs. Original 18k bezel features a '50' through '200' Units per Hour scale on the original black bezel insert, which is also in mint to mint plus condition. Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to 3 positions. This is a column wheel chronograph construction. Movement is pristine and operating perfectly. Chronograph resets to zero crisply and accurately. Original dial is black with applied golden hour markers and hands. Contrasting champagne sub dials. Original hands. Chronograph totalizers for 30 minutes and 12 hours. The watch in on a leather strap with gold Rolex buckle.
