This is another extremely rare stainless steel Rolex Oyster Chronograph Ref. 6264, known to collectors as the "Paul Newman Daytona" which was produced from approximately 1969 until 1974. What makes this watch extremely special and collectible is its remarkable Paul Newman dial – a highly unusual white 2-color “Panda” dial. A watch with this type of dial was said to be featured in the Paul Newman film LE MANS, hence the name. The case is mint and the watch has been serviced. It comes on an elegant crocodile strap. Circa 1969/1970.
Comes with his Brand New Old Stock Rivet Band never worn. This is a very early example of the Paul Newman Daytona and an important watch.
